K, so, I am super scared about my FRQ on the Ap test that is THIS FRIDAY!!! I need help in getting my thesis and beginning and ending paragraphs strong. The middle ones are easy since they are just spitting out facts in an organized manor. The ones that I find hard to write are the compare and contrast essays. can you have just four paragraphs in a FRQ, like in a compare and contrast essay? Any tips on writing one of these will be much appreciated.

The most important thing in writing these essays is to write a really good thesis. If you know what the essay is talking about and what it wants you to write, then just make a well-developed thesis comprising your prior knowledge on AP US history stuff. Secondly, always take a side or a position and never wander off talking about something irrelevant to the topic you are assigned to write about. Also you will have to reason out your position and explain it with details that support your thesis. Finally using information from your introduction and your body paragraph, make a strong and understandable conclusion that sums up the position you took and the facts that you listed to support your knowledge.

Hope this helps. I'm taking the test too on Friday

Good Luck! :)
