Yeah, I'm in ARP (A)dvanced (R)egents (P)rogram. I've been in it since 6th grade (beginning of middle school.) And I was just wondering is it only the 8th graders in NY who take the test. I have like 7 tests to take:

1. Language Arts State Exam
2. Math State Exam
3. Math Regents
4. Spanish Proficiency Exam
5. Science State Exam
6. Science Living Environment (Biology) Regents
7. Social Studies State Exam

yeah, i know. A LOT. so does every 8th grader in the U.S. take this? just wondering.

No, not every 8th grader takes this. I sure as hell didn't when I was in 8th grade, which was only like 3 years ago. As a matter of fact, I wasn't even offered this program at my school and surprisingly, I've never heard of it until now. So, in a way, you're kind of lucky that you're able to take these tests now, so you can get a sense of what's on them when you take your future regents. But if you fail them, you have 4 more years in high school to retake them to do better or pass them, well also along with the other regents from new classes like Chemistry, Forensics, Pre-Calculus, etc.

i do no longer understand if it somewhat is going to likely be extra durable than the maths B, yet i've got taken the Geometry and Algebra I regents already and those have been the two extremely undemanding. There are 27 different selection issues, 8 section II issues, 3 section IIIs, and a million section IV. For areas II, III, and IV, you are able to desire to teach your artwork, and the subjects get extra complicated as you bypass alongside. you will detect a number of the prepare exams on line.
