I just failed my g2 exit test and I feel like crap.?

I failed my g2 exit test today, I know I can drive I just have the terrible feeling of being so nervous, when im in the car with the examiner. I know call me Little dramatic, but I just hate the feeling of thinking I wont pass also because my g2 expires in 4 months=/..

yeah I had the same problem. I just cracked under the pressure... but I did pass! here are some tips for taking the test the next time.



1. Drive SLOW. Like really slow. This first time I took the test I knew to drive slow, but you really have to exaggerate it.



2. Even if you're not, show the examiner that you're confident. When I took the first test I thought that if I showed the examiner that I was nervous they would be more understanding and just think that I'm nervous because of the test. Many of them assume, however, that you're nervous driving in general. So they don't want to pass you.



3. Exaggerate everything! Even if you're looking in the mirror before you change lanes they don't always notice. Sometimes it's good to say what you're thinking out loud. Makesure that if you're checking your mirror or looking over your shoulder you make it dramatic.



4. Practice...obviously. I'm sure you've heard that one a lot. Just drive everywhere and practice paralell parking, 90 degree backing, etc.

You should not be embarrassed for that all it means is that you didn't look in your mirror enough or the examiner did not visually see you move your head. You probably did look in your mirror but, next time make certain you exaggerate movement of your head and eyes do it every 10 seconds, again don't over do the exaggeration such as getting up out of your seat!

Cheer Up bud, there's worse things that could happen. Have a chocolate and watch some thursday night tele and worry about it some other time.
