Hi,

I was wondering how the College Board goes about notifying you if you got a perfect score on a AP test. My teacher has told me of students, not in her class but in others around the country, who got a perfect score on the AP World History exam, apparently this one kid had like photographic memory and got a perfect score on the multiple-choice but didn't do so well on the free-response questions but still passed, so apparently the College Board not only notifies you if you got a perfect score on the whole test but if you get a perfect score on the multiple-choice as well, I was wondering how the College Board goes about letting people know who took their AP tests that they got a perfect score because I thought they only told you your overal score out of 5 but apparently if you get a perfect score they notify you of this and I was woundering how this was done, thanks

The college board will send a notification through the mail to your address if you get a perfect score on either section.
