I just took one and I never thought to ask/check what the scores meant. I figured they would have included a description along with my score.

135 is really good. A score of 100 is average and 75 is borderline Mental Retardation.

I am in college to become a teacher and I had to take a class that dealt with different handicaps and stuff. Learning those numbers was required. We were tested over them.

I've taken tests and scored anywhere from 93 to 153. I'm sure my real IQ is in there somewhere.

So, let's assume that your IQ really is 135. You're very very bright. You should be in the accelerated, "academically enriched" classes at school. You should be considered "gifted." You should join the honors club, if your school has one.

135 is far above average and is considered almost into the genius range. Mensa requires a score of 140 for entrance into their organization.

It means you're real smart. The average is 104.

It technically means that you are smarter than 99% of the population.
