Applying to Bucknell this weekend. They do super-score SAT scores. I took the test in May and Nov of 2009. Did much better all around on the Nov test except in the writing (10 pts better in may). Should I send both scores which they will combine all my bests, or exclude my may test even though i did better on the writing, but would rather they not see my reading and math from may? Will it hurt my chances or will they just ignore my worst scores? Thanks

If they superscore, they will only look at what is the best. Some schools don't care about the writing section, though. I would try to look into that before sending your scores. If they don't care about writing, don't bother sending the other score. If they do, I don't think it will harm your application to send both, especially because you improved and did better the second time, so you may as well.

Good luck.

Only send the best SAT score you have. If you want to send all SAT scores, then do it. Colleges will look at them and see which one is better.

i exploit to artwork area time interior the admissions branch at my college. maximum faculties see an progression in scores as a good sign, this suggests you have discovered greater because of fact the final time you took the try to have become better as a pupil. some faculties would be considerate and not evaluate your older try scores, different faculties will take the wonderful of, meaning in case you scored bigger in math on one try to better in verbal on yet another, they're going to combine them to furnish you the wonderful obtainable score. different faculties is easily no longer so advantageous and could evaluate the two try scores. in case you think of you have a good probability of having better your scores, then you could definately take them returned and deliver the two to the faculties you decide directly to stay with for.
