I have heard that Chem is the hardest followed by Physics and then Calculus. Bio and Euro were both pretty easy for for me.

Don't think I nuts but...I've taken...

AP US

AP Macroeconomics

AP Chem

AP Spanish

AP Statistics

AP English Lit

AP Calculus AB

AP Physics C Mech

AP Physics C E&M

AP Enviro

Of all these, I have to say AP Physics was hard, AP Spanish was the most work, and AP Lit was difficult because I'm not the best writer

Pssh, AP Calculus is a cakewalk.

AP Physics C is pretty killer, or so I've heard. (5-6 hour test)

My AP Bio course is really demanding, but it's all for the better, because I'm really prepared for the AP.

AP Euro wasn't that hard for me, but then I had a good teacher, so the class was really fun. AP Bio (I took ecology) was hard and boring, and there was a lot to memorize.

The hardest AP class, from my experience, though, was Spanish. All the languages are really hard.

AP Lang, cause the MC section might as well be done by Helen Keller for all I care, and my ability to write really fast on the essays is not very good. I think AP Calc's really easy, personally.

AP world history

because in this course you need to know history from the prehistoric period to modern time of the entire world.

I amm taking the test this thurseday and I am very worried...

It also depends on who your teacher is and how interested are you for the subject material.

I don't know what your teachers are thinking, but I don't allow sophomores in my AP Bio class. I require that they take chem and regular bio first. AP Bio is usually very tough for sophomores (not because they're not smart, but because they are lacking in the science back ground AND they usually haven't developed their study skills yet.)

FYI...in college they say you should study 3 hours outside of class for every 1 hour you are in class. I don't necessarily agree with this, but I tell my students to study about 1 hour per night. If you aren't willing to put in the time outside of class, don't bother taking the class. Look at your schedule and activities and make sure you have enough time to not only study for your classes, but to enjoy your high school experience. The last thing you want to do is miss out on some of the awesome things that high school has to offer.

Unless you have already had Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry or Trig, then AP physics is not for you. I teach physics and don't recommend students to attempt it without having taken those classes. As a sophomore, I really doubt you are ready, unless you are advanced in math. I would wait until your junior or senior year. I never took AP Bio in high school, but I did have two semesters of bio in college. It's mostly memorization, and understanding how everything works together. It is difficult, but not impossible. Perhaps you could talk to the teachers that teach AP bio and AP physics and see what they recommend you do. Good luck with whatever you choose!

The four hardest AP classes are AP Physics B, AP Biology, AP Literature, and AP Calculus BC.

Generally all AP classes are hard; there is no easy way to get an 5 without minimum effortness.

It actually depends on people's interest, and how good is the teachers...
