will I have to retake algebra 1?

I'm finishing algebra 1 right now and I'm in 8th grade. I got an A- for my first and second trimester grades. I don't know what my final grade for the third trimester will be, but as of right now I have an A.

I know that's good, but I took the placement test a few days ago and I think I did pretty bad. The test overall felt easy, but there were a several problems I didn't know. I know I got at least 4 wrong and each problem was 5 points.

If I get like a 70 or something on the placement test but my grades are good will they make me retake algebra 1 in 9th grade? I'm so nervous!
