you have to be super smart... I actually graduated a year early (skipped my junior year and went straight on to my senior year) I got all As and all my classes were AP or honors from the time of middle school and my GPA has been tested a couple times... it's really high... higher than many adult counterparts.... (it was tested and scored 195, which is just a little less than Einstein's) I was accepted to many colleges like Harvard and Yale and Princeton, but I'm still going to a smaller one... because I don't wanna be... famous just for my brains, so even though everyone around me knows I'm super-smart, people who don't know me don't know that I am...

At 17 years old, I'm the youngest in my college...

A girl i graduated with skipped the 11th grade, she went to summer school for 2 years. she also didn't take any study halls or non credit classes. This was in Alabama, I'm not sure if you can do it in every state or whether you can still do it.

I skipped second grade, but that's because I was in private school, and you can do pretty much whatever you want in private school. In the public school system it is possible to skip a grade, but it's a bit difficult. You have to excel beyond belief in the toughest classes in your grade and what not, along with talking to your school board and principle. It's even harder in high school, since you can have a wide range of students in classes, and freshman could even request to be placed in an AP Class I'm sure. This makes it sort of hard to skip an actual grade, but I'm sure if you had the IQ that made you qualify as a "genius" and you were taking challenging classes without difficulty, it could be done.
