I took June 2008 Math B
Ill give A short analysis=D
_______________________________
Difficulty:Easy
Geometry: Analytic Geometry Proof-Prove two lines paralel through slope formula(Slopes come out to 1/3)
Parabola: No graphing required. Use axis of symmetry Formula. 20 workers is the answer.
Geometric Mean: Maple street question. Answer is 8.
Normal distribution: 115 ...You should find that you need to add the percentages beyond 2 standard deviations
S=r(theta) r= radius: Theta(always in radians)=1...you solve
Inequalities/Absolute Value: 3 will not work for A
Q34: Use LOS (Reject the second quadrant angle)--Add that answer to 23 degrees and you should get 56.1 degrees (I think) ...LOC=79 ....Part IV Log: 11(divide and convert to exponential form then solve)
There was also a TRIG equation(3 answers)...you needed to use quadratic equation and round to nearest hundreth(DEBATED whether you have to put 90 or 90.00 degrees)
**Exam will be on Jmap tommorow most likely
**hope this hlped
