Do colleges avg your SAT scores if you've taken it more than 3 times?

tomorrow is my 3rd time taking it, and i also signed up for the Nov. test as well, but now i've heard that they avg it if you take it more than 3 times? Is it true?

actually, I heard that it was true, but it does depend on what college you are looking at. They also say that taking the test more than three times is counter productive and won't help your score any.

No, a lot colleges only take your highest score from each section and make that into a total SAT score, regardless of how many times you've taken it. Others only look at your most recent testing or the highest grade in one sitting. I've never heard of a college averaging them, though.

no , college only take highest sat score you got and used that high score to apply for college. it does not matter , how much time you take the test .
