It depends on you as a person, and I hope you don't consider a D as passing, even if your school states it is.
Try your best if you are talking about yourself,and ask for help.
Don't settle for whatever, and If a D is the best you can do for now.............make small changes, to where next time its a C, and next time its a B, and so on,
What I do understand, is that some kids,and adults can only do so much no matter what is done, but you have to ask yourself, ................Did i try my hardest.
A D was failing in Highschool, most importantly a D meant failing to at home, but it came with lots of encouragement.(after the scorn, of course)....so it became failing to me, but that s only because I knew i could do better, and at one time, i didn't want to............I had to change that really fast.
