need help understanding my SAT scores..?

hi,
i am confused about my test scores...
critical reading i got 290
math 380
writting 380

i am pretty sure their are not high scores but i need help understanding how to add them or what evers... help!!

yeah you are right, these scores are way below the national average of 500 in each subject, your total sat score is a 1050 but most schools look at the score without the writing so yours without writing would be a 670. Unfortunately these scores will most likely get you no where and unless you plan on going to community college, i seriously recommend retaking it and studying. Just to put it in perspective the lowest you can get is a 200 on each, meaning the lowest total is a 600 and the 400 for math and reading.

those are pretty awful

to add them, you just add all three, or just critical reading and math if you want your score out of 1600 (which some colleges only look at)



please take them again though, and see if you can do better. it would help a lot
