I'm just curious as I didn't do A levels - when you resit an exam, is it exactly the same paper with the same questions? Or do they have additional papers for those students who wish to resit with different questions? Also, how many times can you resit any given exam? Can you only resit once or could you hypothetically resit multiple times until you got the grade you wanted? Thank you!

NO DEFINATELY NOT DA SAME QUESTIONS... dat woul be foolish as student who sat the original exam could leak all the questions, u wud hav an A before even beginning the resit.

the resit has different questions, der are only two exams on each topic each year. mostly once in january (the 1st exam), and once in the summer in may or june (the resit exam).

your paying about 30 quid for each resit so... up toyou you can resit multiple times. but technically if u fail and exam in yr12 (1st year of ALEVELS) in january.. then you resit in the summer again. but if you fail that exam too.. then your waiting all the way until NEXT JANUARY to resit your exams.

so if you fail an exam in yr13 (2nd year of ALEVEL) in january then you can resit that summer. but if you fail that resit too.. then you screwed cos you wont pass ur alevels and will have to wait till the coming january to be able to resit again!!

Its a completely different paper! That is the whole point or otherwise it would be cheating.

You can resit twice and they take your best mark
