How many times we can apply for GATE exam?

I am studying in 7 th semester .
i want to appear for gate 2011.
can anyone tell me that how many attempts can be made for this exam.
what is the validity for score card?

no limit for gate exam both in sense of number of attempts and age limit..

This is not like that of IAS exam's in which you should be worried about the no of attempts so dear friend attempt as many times you want to there is no such restriction for GATE but remeber once you qualify the exams the score will be valid for a period of 2 yrs .. hope you got it
