I took Advanced Math and Science in 7th and 8th grade. I could not take AP Exams (from the College Board) until 11th grade.

Unless you're in an accelerated program, probably not. Are you ready for AP? What courses are you taking now? Take a look at the sample questions from College Board and see if you are ready for an AP course. If you think this is something that you are capable of, you'll need to talk to your parents and your school counselor. They will need to find you a way to take a high school AP course, or give you direction on how to prepare privately.

It's possible if you're like amazingly smart/ahead. =P For example, my brother's 7th grade classmate is currently in Algebra II; when he's in the 9th grade, he'll be in AP Calculus. If he wanted to, he could take AP Stats in the 8th grade. But that's very rare. Most likely, you'll have to wait until at least freshman year.

Depends on whether or not your school allows you to take high school courses in middle school. But, seeing as AP courses are college-level courses, I doubt any school would allow you to take AP as an 8th grader.

AP classes are meant to prepare advanced high school students for college-level work while letting them earn college credits. Do you think you can handle a college course as an 8th grader? I've been in 8th grade, and I'm in college now... I can tell you that it is very unlikely.

Sorry to burst your bubble...

Probably not because AP classes are mainly for high school students looking for college credit. However, depending on your school, there might be opportunities for you to get high school credit by taking Algebra 1 or Geometry in middle school. Also, there are most likely some honors classes you can take. Good luck :)

No, AP classes are only for high school but I'm sure you'll be able to take advanced/gifted classes.
