I disagree with the previous answerer in one aspect. I never took geometry in highschool and went only up to algebra 1. It did ask some questions about basic things like the volume of a cylinder (I learned that in seventh grade). In fact, the only thing I used from algebra 1 was on one problem about factorizing a polynomial.
Most of the questions you will have are simple logic-based word problems that use simple math, questions about recognizing shapes and patterns (not related to math at all), questions on geometry, and some from algebra 1 (factorizing).
I found the math section to be the easiest (and this is coming from someone who did not take math since 8th grade). The hardest part was reading comprehension.
The best thing you can do is get the Barron's CHSPE book, study it all, and do the three practice tests. They are a little bit harder than the real test, but if you finish them within the time limit, you should be fine.
