How do you find out your GCSE/A Level results if you have lost the certificates?

My boyfriend is going back into work after some years of unemployment and has lost his certificates for his GCSE's and the college courses he did and can't actually remember what those grades were.
As he's only 21 this wasnt too long ago, how do we go about finding out what his results were? Or, does it matter if he isnt totally accurate with the grades he puts down on a job application form?
Hope someone can help!! Thank you!

contact the education authority who issued the certificates (you may need to contact the school/college he took them with)

He can either list the subjects he's passed and just say "GCSEs/A Levels taken and passed in.......". The prob with this is that his employer might want copies as proof. Alternatively, he can try contacting his old school/college because they should have records and copies of his original certificates.

When the situation's heat exceeded far beyond reasonable measure and escalated to a climax where emotions are hardly controllable. The body takes over and a person may lose temper without his/ her full consent. For example: stepping on a lego piece which is laughing at you while u scream in pain

Employers will rarely want to see school qualifications......just say 10 GCSEs grade A-C, it'll be fine.

Or, ring the school and college - if it was less than 6 years ago they should still have his details.

He should contact the school/college where he took his exams, as they keep a record of the grades EVERY student got.

well if he knows they're all passes he could just write "i have (e.g)10 GCSEs including maths and english"

if he knows theyre all A-C grades he could also state that
