Hey. I'm taking the AP Calc BC exam in May. I'm only in Calc Honors, but I do really well in math. I can learn anything with no problem. However, looking at the College Board practice tests, there a lot of things I haven't learned. Can anyone tell me what is on the BC exam that would not be on the AB part. (basically an outline of topics on the exam). I want to prepare ASAP. :)

I have put together a site with AP review books for each of the exams. The page for the Calc BC exam is http://www.apreviewbooks.com/index.php?id=9. Each of the review books will tell you which topics are on the AB and BC exams. These books also have numerous sample exams. In addition to the review books there is information about the exam format and links to released questions from previous exams.

You may also want to check out the Calculus Course Description, http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/ap-calculus-course-description.pdf as this has a list of topics for both exams.

Good luck on your exam in May.

Stuff from AB except a little more in depth with BC topics

integrals of partial fractions

integrals of polar equations

sequences and series

Taylor polynomials

application of integrals.

the BC only adds a little more new topics but takes the AB topics to a higher level.

A lot more people pass with the BC test rather than the AB test. Also, the average BC score was like a 3.68.

Good luck and don't worry too much.
