b) Fresno. They seem to all be in alphabetical order.

Fresno

The key is to look at the first letter of each to the cities and find a pattern. In this problem, the first letter of the next city is always three letters after the previous city:

A) A b c D e f G

B) M n o P q r S

C) P q r S t u V

D) B c d E f g H

E) C d e F g h I

In order to keep this pattern, the missing city has to start with an F. When we look at the answer choices, the only city that starts with an F is Fresno.

Seriously....it's Fresno :-)

Each town name skips 2 letters of the alphabet ex. Albuquerque B, C, Denver, E, F, Grand Island. So Clearwater, D, E, Fresno, F, G, Indianapolis.

And I figgered it out all by my lonesome!

The puzzle has nothing to do with maps or geography but the alphabet. Each train goes to the cities in an alphabetical order. "Fresno" is the only choice with a starting letter between C and I

Fresno... all of the first letters of the cities' names are two letters apart.
