Got my report card back .... how did I do ?

Question

Im in grade 8 and we got our report cards back today ... I calculated my average and it was 75.5, going to 76 % .
For grade 7, in the 2 terms we had, my average 75 % .
My dad told me last year If I don't do better next year, hes gunna be mad .

In our school,
80-100 % A- - A+
70-80 % B- - B+
60-70 % C- - C+
50-60 % D- - D+

So my average is a 76 . Why can't I just be one of the kids who gets like 86's for their average?
And dont tell me " they ward hard , blahblahblah ' . Your either born with it , or your not . The ones that get 86's % + never party, play barely any sports, and barely hang with friends .

I could never switch to that life. There are a few exceptions.... of people that maintain both, but in todays world that is hard to do.

So... what should I tell my dad ?? hes gunna be pissed and probably take away my internet or at least put a limit on, and yell and stuff : (

HELP ?!
btw, NO im not making an excuse. 2 of my 6 teachers HATE ME, and there for has dropped my mark .

Dude u gotta Understand that its not "ur either born with it or not" seriously get that outta ur head.

i used to get bad grades and actually tried and got A's!!

if u have so so grades. go to tutoring or study more.

what really works is if (ur studying for a test) look thru the subject book first thing before u go to sleep. that way while ur sleeping ur brain processes the information u just learned.

if you think we believe the bulls ht about Your teachers hating you are sadly mistaken---you are too lazy to even use spell check on that sad ramble of a question you posted---your problem isn't that you can't do better it's that you won't even try



I hope your father takes away your internet completely, takes you out of all after school activities and grounds your sorry azz until you can at least bring home some B's on your assignments

well I play sports and hang with my friends alot and last year I got like 7 A's on my report card

And last year one of my teachers was gay and had problems (he was a bad teacher so the school fired him)

And your teachers cant drop your mark. After exams and stuff compare ur results with ur friends so u no if it was marked correctly. And after school STUDY THE WORK U DID THAT DAY. It can realy help u get great grades.

Wow....i don't know what kind of school your at but at my school some of the most popular kids at my school have straight A's. And second of all stop complaining get off your lazy a** and study.

Just tell him you obviously messed up somewhere and you will find out the problem and make sure its fixed
