I want some information about improvement exam?

i gave class 12 cbse examinations in 2013.I although scored very well but due to jee normalisation procedure they are not enough.I want to know following things:-
1.can i give examination from different board?
2.Can i appear from a different state?
3.If yes from different state or board then what about practical marks?
4.If one gets less marks in improvement exam than the previous ones then his previous marks will be taken or the new ones?
4.If i don't give improvement examination but appear for jee mains 2014 then percentile taken by the board will be according to this year or next year?

1. Yes you can give exam from different board.

2. Yes you can appear from different state.

3. Different board have different policy and most of the states have PCMB papers of 100 marks and practicals ranging from 30 to 50 marks.

4. If you get less marks in improvement exam then marks of your previous exam will be considered.

5. Percentile will be taken according to next year.
