Not necessarily. MLA is how to structure your paper not the content of the essay.

How your paper looks is completely up to you. That's not what MLA means. Its for 1 inch margins, upper left corner type your name date and the assignment. title on 3 sep. lines, always title your essay, references, and an work cited page. Its things to that nature. There is an MLA handbook that you can find anywhere like Barnes and Nobel.
