The SAT is simply a standardized test that measures your abilities in three different areas: math, comprehensive reading, and writing. You are scored out of 800 in each section, or 2400 in total. The best way to prepare for the SATs is to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. And also take challenging courses in school and try to do well in them. They will definitely help you in the long run. It's better to prepare early. But since you don't have much time left, just relax and try to do your best tomorrow. If you score lower than you like, you can always take the test again. Just learn from your experience and try to think what you can do better next time. My advice to do well though ---> prepare in advance! Hope I helped!

Go to Collegeboard.com

and read the FAQs listed there. It may clarify some of your doubts.

Some colleges require SAT or ACT scores.

Some require both.

They would like to see how you perform on the standarized test. Schools have varying standard and GPA is not always the correct measure.

Well, you'll experience that tomorrow, and I'm guessing you'll want to take it again after the first time. Here's a link to collegeboard.com, the maker of the test, where they explain everything.
