How and when do you take your SAT'S and your ACT'S?

Students general take both of these exams in the Spring of their junior year in high school. Some students take them as early as their sophomore year, but there is rarely a good reason to do so and scores tend to be lower.



The scores from these tests must be submitted when a student applies to college (usually in the fall or winter of their senior year). There are test dates for both the SAT and ACT in late-summer/early fall, so they can be taken at the very beginning of a student's senior year as well.
